Despite falling to third place for the month of June, it looks like Toyota will once again have the country’s best selling car in their Camry. Chevrolet eked out a slight win for the second best selling vehicle in units sold with their Silverado pickup, but the Camry is still nearly 20,000 units ahead for the year.
Chevrolet also took the fourth spot on the list with the Malibu. Redesigned for 2013, they’re just now trickling into dealerships, and we’re sure that there’s a mix of 2012 and 2013 model year Malibus in the sales figures. But it appears that the bowtie brand has a hit on its hands with their first true “world car.”
Honda makes appearances in slots number five and number seven with their Accord and Civic models respectively with the Ford Escape wedged in between the two. Like the Malibu, the Escape has been redesigned for 2013 and the new models just started hitting dealers in the past month.
