What safety equipment does Wyoming recommend for motorcyclists?
If you are under the age of 18, Wyoming requires that you wear an approved protective helmet in order to cut down on the chance of severe head and neck injuries. If you are over the age of 18, you are not required to wear a helmet, but it is highly recommended. All motorcyclists are recommended to wear eye and face protection such as goggles or a faceshield. You should also wear protective gear made out of a sturdy material, such as leather.
