How many points can I get on my Connecticut driver’s license before it is suspended?
Connecticut, like most states, has a point system in place to track your traffic violations. Each traffic violation is worth a number of points commensurate with the severity of the violation. If you accumulate six points on your record, you will be getting a warning letter from Connecticut detailing the possible penalties for the accumulation of more points. Once you accumulate 10 points, your license will be suspended for at least 30 days. Gaining more points can result in a longer suspension.
