What do I do if I’m in an accident and we agree to pull off the road, but the other person speeds away?
Well, you did the responsible thing and tried to get your vehicles off the road after a minor fender bender. Unfortunately, it sounds like the other person just planned to use your law-abiding actions to get him or herself out a situation they likely caused. Whenever you are able to move your vehicles off the road, you should do so. However, before you do that, you may want to take note of the other car’s license plate number and jot it down. That way, you’ll have some sort of recourse if they speed off. The best you can do now is to contact your insurance company and the police and give them what information you can.
