Should I extend a CPO warranty?
CPO stands for Certified PreOwned. This type of warranty is extended as proof that a vehicle has passed a number of tests by the dealer who may have conducted his own repairs on the vehicle. Really, this is going to depend on the warranty itself. What does the warranty include? How much are they charging for it? If you are purchasing a luxury vehicle, then getting the warranty is usually a good idea. If a warranty is covering electronic systems and you are purchasing a newer car that features an abundance of those systems, it will also be a good idea. You need to match the terms of the warranty with the type of vehicle and what it will cost you.
