Arkansas doesn’t really have a straight moped definition. They have two categories, the motor-driven cycle and the motorized bicycle. The primary difference is in the engine displacement. If the vehicle has over 250 cc, then it is a motorcycle. Between 250 and 50 cc it is a motor-driven cycle. If it has less than 50 cc and an automatic transmission, it is a motorized bicycle. If what you’re riding is a motor-driven cycle, then it must be registered just like a motorcycle. If it is a motorized bicycle, then it doesn’t need to be registered.
