Is State Farm dropping its insurance rates?

Yes, State Farm is dropping its insurance rates, if you live in Georgia. They have announced that they will reduce their overall rates by 2.2 percent by the end of November. According to the Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner’s office, the reason for the rate drop is not due to pressure from the state. State Farm insurers about 20 percent of Georgia motorists. After this rate change, the cost of State Farm insurance will have dropped by 11.9 percent in the last seven and a half years. Those having comprehensive and collision insurance will be seeing the biggest drop in cost. However, liability and medical will be going up.
