How much will my insurance go up because of a speeding ticket?

Many factors are used to determine a rate increase resulting from a speeding ticket. For example, if you have a good record with a good insurance company and can have the ticket expunged from your record by attending a driver safety class, you might not see any increase at all!

In general, depending on your car, driving record, state and insurance company you might see anything from 0% to 10% change in your insurance rate because of a speeding ticket.
